Forging Partnerships to End Local Hunger
The Hunger Issues Forum is a one-day event for current (and aspiring) Hunger-Free Community Organizers. Your voice is needed! Imagine what our community would look like if we forged a broader network of like-minded individuals and organizations that harnesses the will required to feed everyone in our neighborhoods.

The Forum will also address food access, healthy eating and highlight trends such as hunger among families, children and seniors.

sector and public sector leaders (management, staff, and board) who are
committed to strengthening their organizations, and our region, given the unique
challenges we face today.
The Forum is designed to spark conversation and action to strengthen our community’s safety net. If you are passionate about closing the meal gap, this is the place for you.

Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties is the trusted leader dedicated to ending local hunger. Since its inception in 1974, Second Harvest has become one of the largest food banks in the nation, providing food to an average of nearly one quarter of a million people each month. The Food Bank mobilizes individuals, companies, and community partners to connect people to the nutritious food they need. Nearly half of the food distributed is fresh produce.
